TRUST THE MAN – Gee, I wish I lived in Manhattan, where the only problem people have is how to dissect the smallest minutiae of their relationships. Still, I think I’d miss seeing a Black person once in a while.
BEERFEST – A sensitive tale of one teen’s coming-of-age in a small Southern town. Can friendship survive the hate and intolerance of his own family?
INVINCIBLE – Sports movies tend to come in two varieties. You’ll be happy to know this is not one of those where someone gets a terminal illness.
THE QUIET – Why do families with dark secrets hidden under a veneer of respectability always live in the suburbs? I’m guessing it’s the schools.
