The California Supreme Court announced on Tuesday that it will uphold the state’s ban on same-sex marriages. The rest of California will continue with no-sex marriages.

Rush Limbaugh accused Supreme Court nominee Sonia Sotomayor of being a “reverse racist.” In response, Sotomayor called Limbaugh a “regular racist.”

Time Warner is officially ending its relationship with AOL. Which makes Time Warner only ten years behind everyone else.

On Monday, President Obama said he expects a positive response from his diplomatic outreach to Iran. Obama has positive expectations about Iran because he hasn’t been paying attention for the past thirty years.

A new national poll suggests that favorable opinions of former Vice President Dick Cheney are on the rise. Cheney’s approval rating is now up to one percent.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid told reporters Tuesday that Ted Kennedy’s brain cancer is in remission. Doctors say that the cancer went in remission after Kennedy threatened to drive it home. (more…)

After promising during the campaign to shut down Guantanamo Bay, President Obama has announced that he’s keeping the military tribunals intact. Obama also announced his new slogan: “Change You Stupidly Believed In.”

The Obama administration projected that the U.S. economy will grow by 3.5 percent by the year’s end. Unfortunately, 3.5% of zero is still zero.

Saying “his body of work is yet to come,” Arizona State refused to give Barack Obama an honorary degree when he spoke at their commencement. The University cited the fact that Obama had not honored the prized Arizona tradition of losing a presidential election.

Manny Ramirez of the Los Angeles Dodgers has been suspended for fifty games due to a violation of baseball’s ban on performance enhancing drugs. Because of his suspension, Ramirez must now pass a drug test, forfeit his salary, and sleep with Madonna.

Mexican officials said Tuesday that the cost of the swine flu epidemic on the country’s vital tourism industry would total billions. Mexico plans to make up for the loss by selling oranges near the freeway.

At a National Teen Pregnancy Awareness event Wednesday, Bristol Palin promoted abstinence as “a realistic way for teens to avoid unwanted pregnancy.” Dissenting from this view: Bristol’s vagina thirteen months ago.
