John Travolta flew his own Boeing 707 to Haiti, bringing relief supplies and a team of ministers from the Church of Scientology. Travolta’s visit is now considered the biggest disaster to ever hit Haiti.

An oil tanker at Port Arthur, Texas, collided with another vessel, spilling 450,000 gallons of crude. The male cast members of “Jersey Shore” were immediately sent to Port Arthur to soak up all the oil into their hair.
